NiCad batteries are maintenance free valve regulated particularly suited for extreme temperatures from -40˚C to +70 ˚C. Operational lifetime: 12 years at + 40˚C and 20 years plus at + 20˚C.
- More expensive than regular lead acid batteries

- Need higher voltage to recharge
